A helicopter crashed in the mountains of Switzerland


The helicopter crashed in the area of the Oberalech glacier on the southern slope of the Bernese Alps, in Switzerland, the German newspaper Bild reported on June 28.
An eyewitness who shot a video from the scene said that at about 12:15 local time (13:15 Moscow time), the helicopter was flying quite low, and then turned over on its side.
"There were three or four people on board," a local police official told the newspaper.
According to unconfirmed reports, at least one person was killed. The crash site is located at an altitude of 2500 m between the Gros Fischerhorn Mountain and the glacier. Rescue workers are currently working at the site.
Also on the afternoon of June 28, a private Yak-18T plane crashed near the village of Panovo in the Moscow region. Four people were killed in the crash. After the incident, a fire broke out, and the fire was extinguished. A criminal case was opened into the incident.
