The military of the Russian Armed Forces evacuated the captured Leopard 2 tank in the DPR

Russian fighters in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) evacuated a captured German-made Leopard 2 tank belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The footage appeared on June 28 at the disposal of Izvestia.

The combat vehicle, which is in full working condition, was captured near Krasnoarmeysk. As the Izvestia correspondent noted, the tank has almost no damage.

For transportation, it was loaded onto a platform and secured with chains.

The internal political situation in the republic depends on the resolution of this issue.

On June 2, Russian soldiers of the Rus detachment showed a captured T-72A AFU tank in the village of Chasyar in the DPR. According to Dmitry Zimenkin, a military correspondent for Izvestia, the tank was found in the vicinity of the village with tracks knocked down by a land mine. Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Russia restored it right in the field.
