Iran has opened its airspace over the central and partly over the western part of the country for international and transit flights. This was reported by the Nour News agency on June 28.

"The skies over the central and western half of the country were open for international transit flights," the newspaper's Telegram channel clarified.

It is specified that flights over the north, south and west of the country are prohibited for international and domestic flights until 14:00 (13:30 Moscow time) on June 29.

The day before, it was reported that Aeroflot plans to resume flights from Moscow to Tehran from July 4 this year. The company added that this initiative is being implemented after the lifting of flight restrictions over the territories. On the same day, the Federal Air Transport Agency again allowed Russian airlines to operate flights in the airspace of Iran, Iraq and Jordan. At the same time, experts will continue to monitor the situation in the region.
