In France, they created a contract killing service called UberKills, which operates on the basis of Telegram. This was reported by the newspaper Le Monde on June 28.

It is noted that in the messenger, the customer writes to the service manager, who, in turn, transmits the necessary information and weapons to the contractor.

According to Le Monde, the service is linked to the murder of Abdel Hakim in the commune of Vol-en-Velen in the east of the country in April this year. It is reported that the man was shot three times, and he was a drug dealer recruited through Telegram.

Le Monde clarifies that during the coronavirus pandemic, the UberShit drug courier service was created — it was disguised as a food delivery service. Later, a service for contract killings called UberKills appeared in the messenger. Most of the perpetrators of crimes are minors.

According to the Lyon Police, law enforcement agencies have seen an increase in the use of social media for criminal purposes in recent years. This system was called "crime uberization" by the police.

On June 10, Le Figaro newspaper reported that a 14-year-old teenager killed a teacher with a knife near a school building in Haute-Marne, France. It is specified that the attack was committed during the inspection of the backpacks of students. According to the newspaper, during the arrest, the student also injured a police officer.
