In Komi, a train collided with a car on the railway

A train collided with a passenger car at a crossing in the Komi Republic. As reported on June 28 in the press service of the North-Western Transport Prosecutor's Office, there were no casualties as a result of the incident.
"On June 28, at the 1,807 km railway crossing of the Kozhva station of the Northern Railway, a passenger car driver drove onto the tracks in front of an approaching freight train at a forbidding signal," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.
It is reported that the driver applied emergency braking, but it did not help to avoid a collision. According to the prosecutor's office, there were no casualties, and passenger train traffic continued as normal.
The investigative authorities are conducting a check to establish the circumstances of the incident.
Earlier that day, in the Amur Region, a locomotive derailed due to a collision with another train, and the drivers suffered bruises and abrasions. Investigators are carrying out actions aimed at establishing the causes of the incident, and an inspection has been organized.
