In Norilsk in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the ground collapsed at a depth of 25 m near the Mayak mine. There was a service trailer on the territory of the collapse, in which, presumably, there was a female watchman. This was reported on June 28 in the press service of the prosecutor's office in the region.

"A ground collapse occurred in the Talnakh area of the city of Norilsk. Garages are located on this territory, as well as a beam, in which, according to available information, there was a woman," said Andrei Leyman, prosecutor of the city of Norilsk.

It is reported that emergency services and law enforcement agencies are working at the scene, and a search is underway for the missing. According to preliminary data, the collapse occurred due to the melting of permafrost. The area of the collapse was 132 sq. m.

Investigators are taking the necessary measures to determine the causes of the incident.

On May 27, two women fell into a pit and were injured when the ground collapsed near a river in Udmurtia. Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, instructed Roman Shirobokov, Acting Head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Udmurt Republic, to report on the interim results of the audit.
