An explosion carried out by a terrorist killed at least 16 people in northwestern Pakistan. This was reported on June 28 by Agence France Presse (AFP), citing representatives of the local administration and the security service.
"A suicide bomber drove a car packed with explosives into a convoy of soldiers," the publication says.
It is specified that the terrorist's car was filled with explosives. The explosion also caused the roofs of two houses to collapse, injuring six children.
Earlier, on May 14, in the Pakistani city of Quetta, Balochistan province, one person was killed and 11 others were injured during an explosion at a rally of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP). It was clarified that two hand grenades were thrown at the participants of the rally, and an M203 grenade launcher was also used.
