In the morning, the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) launched an attack on Israeli territory. This was announced on June 28 by the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

"The IDF has detected a rocket launch from Yemen towards Israeli territory, and air defense systems are working to intercept the threat," the Telegram channel says.

Sirens sounded in the country against the background of the shelling. After the threat signal from Yemen, another missile was launched. According to the army press service, most likely, the rocket was successfully intercepted by the Israeli side.

Later, the Houthis confirmed a ballistic missile attack on a "sensitive" target in the city of Beersheba in southern Israel. According to Al Jazeera, the Houthi operation has successfully achieved its goal. In addition, it is noted that at the beginning of last week, Ansar Allah launched several operations to attack targets in Beersheba, Jaffa and Haifa using ballistic missiles and drones.

On June 10, the head of Ansar Allah, Mahdi al-Mashat, called on foreign countries to move their embassies to a safe distance from possible Houthi targets in Israel. It is noted that the locations for the new location of the diplomatic missions can be coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Yemen. Later, on June 15, the IDF press service reported that it had joined Iran to attack Israel.
