A gas cylinder exploded on a fishing vessel in Primorsky Krai, injuring three people. This was announced on June 28 by the press service of the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office.

"On June 26, an explosion of a gas cylinder intended for household appliances occurred on a fishing vessel moored at the berth of Vladivostok Fish Processing Plant LLC," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is reported that three crew members were injured in the incident. Investigators are taking the necessary actions to establish the circumstances of the incident.

On June 4, Nikolai Pirozhkov, head of the Vladivostok Maritime Rescue Coordination Center, reported that a fire had broken out on the Iceberg fishing schooner in the Sea of Japan 250 miles (402 km) south of Vladivostok. According to Pirozhkov, the crew of 17 Russians left the ship on two rafts.
