Ukraine will impose sanctions against those countries that buy Russian oil more than others. This was announced on June 28 by the country's Foreign Minister Andrei Sibiga.

"We will also respond and urge our partners in the countries, and there are not many of them, which consume Russian oil the most," Sibiga said, quoted by the Ukrainian online publication "Страна.иа ".

It is noted that the largest buyers of Russian oil are China, India and Turkey.

On June 23, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Peter Szijjarto noted that the European Union (EU) would find itself in a tragic situation if it decides to ban the import of oil and gas from Russia during the escalation in the Middle East. The Minister noted that although crisis has followed crisis in the EU over the past decade, the European energy market has never been in such an uncertain situation.
