The State Duma announced plans to double mortgage payments for large families

Mortgage repayment payments for large families in Russia can be doubled: from 450 thousand to 900 thousand rubles. Anatoly Aksakov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market, told RIA Novosti about this on June 28.

"We have a program for large families, according to which, already at the birth of a child, a certain amount of money is allocated to reimburse the cost of housing. Now we are increasing this amount to 900 thousand rubles," Aksakov said.

According to him, this measure may be one of the reasons for an increase in the birth rate in the country. The deputy recalled that today the payment amount is 450 thousand rubles.
