When asked whether Jerusalem now considers the last round of escalation with the Islamic Republic to be exhausted, the diplomat replied in the affirmative.

"That's a great question. I don't have a crystal ball in which we can look at the future. I can say that at the moment, yes. We have achieved what we were going to achieve," Galperin said in an interview with Rossiya-24 TV channel.

Earlier in the day, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz said he had instructed the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to develop an action plan against Iran that provides for maintaining air superiority and measures to prevent Tehran's nuclear and missile development.

According to the Orientalist, the program manager of the Russian Council on International Affairs (RIAC) Ivan Bocharo, new threats to Israel are unlikely to appear in the foreseeable future, Iran will remain a key potential adversary for the country. The expert believes that a strategy of preemptive strikes will be applied against Tehran.
