The Venice police are on full alert before the start of the wedding ceremony of billionaire Jeff Bezos with Lauren Sanchez — guests have begun arriving for the celebration, and there are many bodyguards and guards around the venue. He added that everything nearby is carefully hidden and guarded for the privacy of the guests. Water taxis run non-stop. However, not all local residents are happy with the private event — the activists have already staged a performance in St. Mark's Square, and are planning a second rally the next day.
"The No Place for Bezos movement, led by Tommaso Caccari, is organizing a protest. About 200 people are expected. Let's see how it goes. The police are fully prepared, and so far the wedding seems to be under reliable protection," Borzomi concluded.

They gave their first joint interview three years later, in which the billionaire called the journalist "the most generous and generous person you will ever meet," and said that she was "inspiring."
Prior to that, the entrepreneur was married to Mackenzie Scott for 25 years. They broke up in 2019. According to Forbes, Bezos is ranked third in the list of the richest people in the world.
