Russian tennis player Panova reached the final of the WTA doubles tournament in Germany

Russian tennis player Alexandra Panova, along with Chinese Guo Hanyu, reached the doubles final of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) tournament in Bad Homburg, Germany, on June 27.

In the semifinals, the athletes beat Chinese women Xu Yifan and Yang Zhaoxuan with a score of 6:3, 6:4. In the final, their rivals will be Ukrainian Lyudmila Kichenok and Australian Ellen Perez, Sport-Express adds.

Panova is ranked 33rd in the WTA doubles rankings and has ten titles to her credit. Her partner, Guo Hanyu, 27, is in 39th position.

Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva lost to Czech Linda Noskova in the quarterfinals of the WTA tournament on Thursday, June 26. Andreeva made four aces and made six double faults during the game. Her opponent Noskova has two aces, one double fault and three break points out of five.
