Sales of wedding goods and services increased at Avito


Over the past five months, sales of wedding products have increased by 10%. Most often, wedding dresses, bridal bouquets and wedding rings are bought on the platform. Avito Goods analysts told Izvestia about this on June 30.
In addition, there is a significant increase in interest in the field of wedding design and coordination: the demand for decoration increased by 21%, and for coordination by 18%. Weddings are especially actively decorated in St. Petersburg and Moscow, where the growth was 69% and 63%, respectively. In Novosibirsk, the organization of these events has become the most in-demand service with a 74% increase in interest.
"In general, there is a particularly noticeable increase in interest in wedding photography in Russia. The number of requests for photo shoots increased by 56% compared to May last year. The demand for the bride and groom's photo shoot has increased even more noticeably — by 66%," Avito Goods analysts said.
It is noted that the event hosts are also in high demand: interest in their services has increased by 22%. The most noticeable growth is observed in Voronezh and Yaroslavl, where demand increased by 68% and 62%, respectively.
As for the bride's image, makeup and hairstyle services began to be ordered more than twice as often. Wedding makeup rehearsals are also gaining popularity, especially in Barnaul and Yakutia.
The bride's bouquets and wedding rings are also among the top sellers. The average price of a pair of rings is 40 thousand rubles, and their sales increased by 8%. Wedding veils, both classic and unusual, are in demand, especially for bachelorette parties.
On June 26, it was reported that on the eve of the wedding season, the demand for festive clothes and accessories increased. The number of online purchases for men's and women's wardrobes increased by 7%, and the turnover of payments increased by 14%. The minimum wedding set (a dress, a suit, two rings and a bouquet) costs an average of 70,690 rubles, which is 9% more expensive than in 2024.
