A week later, a forest fire near the village of Atamanovka in the Trans-Baikal Territory was localized on an area of 7 thousand hectares. This was announced on June 27 by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.

"A forest fire near the village of Atamanovka has been localized on 7 thousand hectares," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is specified that 6 km from the village of Zykovo, 750 hectares of forest are burning. More than 100 people and 18 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire, as well as two Be-200ChS aircraft, an Il-76 aircraft and an Mi-8 helicopter.
