An emergency regime was introduced on the territory of Izhevsk upon liquidation due to a spill of petroleum products on the Starkovka River. This was announced on June 27 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Udmurt Region.

"From June 27 and until further notice, an emergency regime has been introduced in the territory of the city of Izhevsk," the agency's website says.

It is specified that experts have already conducted a study of water samples in several places. According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region, at the moment the situation is under the control of the department.

Earlier, on June 9, it was reported about a leak of petroleum products in the Kazachinsky threshold of the Yenisei River in the Krasnoyarsk Territory due to damage to the hull of the ship. On the same day, the head of the Kazachinsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Yuri Ozerskikh, said that the amount of fuel leaking from the ship into the Yenisei River had increased from 10-15 tons to 30 tons. Then he noted that the situation did not threaten the residents.
