In Krasnoyarsk, the police detained a young man who is suspected of fraud. He took 4.5 million rubles from two pensioners.

An elderly woman who became a victim of telephone scams contacted law enforcement agencies. According to her, the attackers urgently demanded to declare all the cash. The pensioner agreed to transfer the "marked" bills to the courier for exchange for real ones. The damage amounted to 2 million rubles, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.

The police detained a 20-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk. He said that he had responded to a job offer as a courier in one of the messengers. The suspect transferred the money received to the accounts of the "employers", keeping a small fee for himself. It was established that the young man was also involved in the deception of a pensioner from Kansk. The woman lost 2.5 million rubles.

In Magadan, a 73-year-old man became a victim of fraud. The pensioner received a message in the messenger, allegedly from the head. The text stated that law enforcement officials should contact the man. Soon, a stranger called the pensioner, who stated that fraudulent actions had been recorded on the bank accounts of the Magadan resident. The victim agreed to transfer 2 million rubles to a "protected" account.
