At least 19 people were killed in a bus accident in Egypt.

In the province of Munifiya in northern Egypt, a bus collided with a truck, killing at least 19 people in an accident. This was reported by the Egypt Independent newspaper on June 27.

"As a result of the collision, both vehicles were completely destroyed, and 19 people died," the publication says.

It is specified that three more people were injured. Police officers and ambulance crews promptly arrived at the scene.

The Russian Embassy in Egypt did not report any Russian citizens injured in the accident.
