Attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities violate international law. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on June 27.

"The recent attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities, which are under the control of the IAEA, most dangerously violate the provisions of international law, including the Treaty on the Non—Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and the Geneva Conventions of 1949," he said.

Lukashenko also recalled that the President of the Islamic Republic, Masoud Pezeshkian, was supposed to attend the meeting for the first time as an observer at the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), "however, due to known circumstances, he could not."

A recorded video message from the Iranian president was shown at the meeting. In it, Pezeshkian stated that the US and Israeli strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities cause irreparable damage to the non-proliferation regime. He also noted that the UN Security Council and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) should treat "aggressors and warmongers" more responsibly.
