Rosfinmonitoring has added mercenary O'Leary to the list of terrorists and extremists

An American mercenary of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Ryan O'Leary, has been added to the list of terrorists and extremists. The relevant information appeared on the Rosfinmonitoring website on June 27.

"Ryan David O'Leary, born on 12/18/1986, Carroll, Iowa, United States of America," the list says.

On December 27, 2024, the Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal terrorism case against O'Leary. It was noted that the mercenary illegally invaded the Kursk region, where he committed crimes against civilians.

The tightening will also apply to foreigners and stateless persons.

On April 8, Rosfinmonitoring added Lithuanian politician Andrius Almanis to the list of extremists and terrorists in the Russian Federation. Ukrainian businessman Oleg Magaletsky and publicist Vadim Shtepa were also included in the list.
