The Ministry of Transport proposed to place playgrounds for children at the gas station

The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation proposed equipping road infrastructure facilities with playgrounds and mother and child rooms. The draft government decree was published on the portal of draft regulatory legal acts, the ministry's press service reported on June 27.

Thus, according to the initiative of the Ministry of Transport, gas stations, roadside motels and catering establishments with a total area of at least 1.5 thousand square meters should be equipped with playgrounds for children.

Additionally, mother and child rooms should appear at gas stations and public catering facilities (with the above-mentioned area). It is envisaged that all these changes will apply only to those road service facilities that will be built after the adoption of the resolution.

The Ministry noted that the implementation of these proposals will create comfortable and safe conditions for families with preschool children during travel and long trips.

It will be possible to carry goods only on your own transport under the control of regular drivers.

Yesterday it was reported that 57 regional roads leading to popular summer recreation areas such as parks, beaches, river banks and lakes will be put in order in the Moscow Region during the current repair season.

Prior to that, on June 17, Russian Transport Minister Roman Starovoit said at a meeting in the State Duma that by 2030 it was possible to increase the number of self-driving cars to 1,700 units in Russia. According to him, currently more than 80 self-driving cars are already running along several Russian highways.
