The German ambassador left the building of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as he went to get an interpreter. This was announced on June 27 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"As it turned out, the German ambassador does not speak Russian and went to get a translator, and apparently the German diplomats did not translate yesterday's information to their chancellor [Friedrich Merz]," Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel.
