VTB has issued the first loan under a preferential program in the field of urban economy

VTB has provided the first loan under a new program of concessional lending to medium and small businesses in the urban economy.

According to the press service of the bank, the metropolitan publishing house received 5 million rubles for a period of three years under the "umbrella guarantee" of VEB.Russian Federation and SME Corporations. "The additional funding will allow the organization to increase the production of books and paper products, educational games and manuals for children and schoolchildren," VTB noted.

According to Ruslan Yeremenko, a member of the VTB Management Board, the new concessional lending program has attracted business interest since the first days of its launch. "Such support measures are in demand and provide real assistance in the development of various areas of entrepreneurship," he stressed. —The simplicity and accessibility of obtaining preferential financing under the new program allow entrepreneurs to focus on developing their business and reduce financial risks." VTB has started implementing a preferential program jointly with VEB.The Russian Federation and the SME Corporation. The trilateral agreement was signed as part of SPIEF 2025. The program provides for joint surety of state corporations for up to 50% of the loan amount (25% of each). The maximum loan amount can reach 2 billion rubles for investment purposes and up to 50 million rubles for business development.

Since 2021, the SME Corporation has already assumed the risk for more than 90 thousand entrepreneurs.
