Almost half (49%) of entrepreneurs are ready to delegate their responsibilities to artificial intelligence (AI), while 68% of sellers can assign something to a neural network only if a person checks the final result. On June 30, Yandex Market shared such data with Izvestia after a survey of more than 1.2 thousand sellers on marketplaces.

According to the data, entrepreneurs would like to use AI in their work due to saving time on routine tasks (37%) and reducing the likelihood of human error (24%). In addition, respondents believe that using neural networks it is possible to make analytics and forecasts more accurate (24%), as well as spend less on salaries (22%).

It is clarified that among the tasks that are most often ready to give to neural networks is the generation of descriptions (62%) and images (37%) for a product card. Sellers are also willing to delegate information search (33%), sales and competitor analysis, and demand forecasting (32%).

However, many people do not want to work with an AI assistant on their own yet: more than half of entrepreneurs (51%) would rather have an assistant communicate with a neural network instead, or better yet, a confident user of neural networks (70%). One third of those who want to have an assistant to solve such tasks are even ready to hire a new person to the staff.

According to the data provided by the Profi service.<url>", now the market is responding to sellers' requests: the number of offers is growing in those areas where entrepreneurs have a desire to hire assistants and delegate work to neural networks.

"The increased willingness of sellers to delegate tasks to AI is a signal of the market's transition to a more mature phase of automation. The demand for specialists capable of achieving high-quality results from AI tools is growing rapidly and is forming a new segment of competencies at the intersection of technology and marketplace management," said Profi marketing analyst.<url>" by Vladislav Shchukin.

It is added that in the first half of 2025, compared with the same period of the previous year, the number of questionnaires from marketplace managers with various tasks, including card management, sales analysis, stock management and advertising campaigns, increased by 82%. In addition, the number of offers from analysts increased by 80%, and from content managers - by 26%.

On June 25, Izvestia got acquainted with the results of a study by the Russian School of Management (RSHU), which talks about the rapid introduction of AI into the professional lives of Russians. It was clarified that almost half of the respondents (48%) are already using AI tools in their work, and the majority of Russians (81%) see artificial intelligence as new career opportunities.
