Lada Granta sedan has received a new budget version

AvtoVAZ has launched the Lada Granta sedan in a new Standard Plus configuration. This is the second most affordable version of the model after the basic one. Information about the new product appeared in the price lists on the official website of the brand.

If in the initial configuration the Granta sedan costs from 749.9 thousand rubles, then in the second version after it — 829 thousand rubles. This modification differs only in the presence of the driver's airbag. Previously, the most affordable version of the Granta with a driver's airbag cost from 966 thousand rubles.

The Standard Plus sedan is also equipped with an ABS system, power windows for the front doors, 14-inch steel discs and a spare tire, a 12-volt outlet on the center console, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and audio training. The engine is an eight—valve 90-horsepower, aggregated with a five-speed manual.

The day before, AvtoVAZ announced the start of sales of the Lada Granta liftback in the new Active Cross modification. In this version, the car features a ground clearance increased to 198 mm and a contrasting body kit.

On June 25, it was reported that the application for registration of the new Lada Yarus trademark appeared in the open database of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS). It is possible that a promising Lada model will receive the Yarus name in the future.
