China is concerned about the injury of Chinese journalist Lu Yuguang in a drone attack The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kursk region. This was announced on June 27 by the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Guo Jiakun, at a briefing.

"We are deeply concerned about the injury of a Chinese journalist during the preparation of a report," ChinaNews quoted an official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry as saying.

In addition, he noted that China calls on all parties to commit themselves to resolving the Ukrainian conflict and jointly provide assistance to "mitigate the situation."

Lu Yuguang, a correspondent for the Chinese Phoenix television company, was injured in a Ukrainian drone strike in the Kursk region on June 26. Later, the acting governor of the region, Alexander Khinstein, clarified that the reporter had received scalp wounds and refused to be hospitalized.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on the same day that those responsible for the attack on Lu Yuguang's life would be identified and punished.
