Faucets, pipes, connections and drain systems are better to choose trusted manufacturers, and when buying, it is worth consulting with a professional plumber.

"Cheap faucets or improperly installed elements can quickly fail, cause leaks, damage bathroom furniture, and even lead to conflicts with neighbors due to flooding," he noted.

The second critical aspect is electrics. The expert warned that self-installation or the choice of low-quality materials can lead to serious consequences, including the risk of fire. If the apartment is new and already has wiring, it is important to check its condition and, if necessary, replace individual elements with more reliable ones.

"The third thing you shouldn't skimp on is floor coverings. For durability and wear resistance, it is better to choose quartz vinyl laminate (SPC), porcelain stoneware or high-quality thick linoleum. These materials are resistant to mechanical damage and moisture, which is especially important when renting out housing," the specialist suggested.

Orekhov also recommended seeking advice from a professional designer. A specialist will help optimize the space, select practical and aesthetic materials, and advise trusted craftsmen and suppliers. According to him, this will not only save time and money, but also make the apartment more attractive to tenants.

In some cases, a designer's consultation may be free or inexpensive, but its advantages are obvious: a functional interior and competent repairs will increase the service life of the apartment and its market value.
