The main federal event in the field of creative economy, the Russian Creative Week (RCN), will be held in Moscow on September 25-27, 2025 at the Rossiya National Center. The organizer of the event is ANO Creative Economy, the Federal Center for Support and Development of Creative Industries.

The forum was preceded by a key statement at the SPIEF by Russian President Vladimir Putin on support for the creative economy and a strategy session with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on the preparation of a strategy for the development of the creative economy.

"We will definitely support the fast—growing sectors of the creative economy that are related to science, art, culture and creativity, including areas such as architecture and design, film and music, publishing and software, and so on. All that experts call the economy of impressions," the head of state emphasized in his speech.

Marina Mongush, President of ANO Creative Economy, noted that the development of the sector is reaching a fundamentally new level.

"It will be very important for us to move from the discussion of creative industries to the creative economy, to understand the very effects that creative industries have in all related industries, to understand how creative industries help fulfill all national priorities," said the president of ANO Creative Economy.

The three key days of the Forum will bring together government officials, visionaries, entrepreneurs, and creative industry leaders to discuss the future of an economy based on creativity and innovation.

The program includes 60+ events, 350+ speakers, 89 regions, participation of experts from 10 countries, 3 strategic tracks, creative entrepreneurship day and the large—scale exhibition creative EXPO — a single conceptual space for the best projects and important events of regions, companies and partners, as well as a demonstration of the potential of the domestic creative sector.

The Russian Creative Week in 2025 will be held for the sixth time. In five years, the Forum has become the main platform for dialogue between business, government and the creative community, laying the foundations for the transition from strategic planning to concrete actions. The expert community traditionally forms the basis of the Forum. This year will be no exception. Representatives of ministries and departments, development institutes and leading companies are expected to participate: the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, the Internet Development Institute, the Agency for Creative Industries, the Regional Development Support Fund. Cinematography, the National Research University Higher School of Economics, VK, Yandex, the Andrei Melnichenko Charitable Foundation, as well as leaders of creative industries from the regions of Russia.

On the eve of the Russian Creative Week, an annual press conference will be held at TASS on the role of creative industries in shaping the economy of the future. The date of the event will be announced later.

The Russian Creative Week (RCN) is the main federal event in the field of the creative economy in Russia. The initiator and organizer is ANO Creative Economy (Federal Center for the Support and Development of Creative Industries).

The Russian Creative Week has been taking place since 2020, acting as a key platform for creating new ideas for the development of the country — a value-oriented creative economy capable of ensuring Russia's competitiveness. At the event, a visionary agenda, new trends and strategies are formed, as well as practical business decisions are made, partnerships are established and the experience of the regions is accumulated.
