The media reported on the reduction of staff at Harvard due to lack of funding

The Harvard John F. Kennedy Institute of Public Administration will be forced to lay off some of its staff next week due to federal funding cuts. This was reported on June 26 by the Fox News channel.
"This is an extremely difficult period, and we have made every effort to avoid it. I sincerely regret that we have to take this step, as we, as a school and university, have faced unprecedented difficulties," Dean Jeremy Weinstein said in an email.
He wrote that due to financial difficulties, the educational institution was forced to dismiss some of its employees, as well as restructure some positions.
At the same time, the institute's management refused to disclose to the TV channel the exact number of employees who are planned to be fired.
On May 26, US President Donald Trump announced his intention to withdraw a $3 billion grant from Harvard and transfer it to other educational institutions. He believes that the university has been providing documents on international students for a long time. According to Trump, Harvard is more focused on finding a judge in this matter.
On June 25, it was reported that the White House intended to resolve its differences with Harvard.
