The Primorye Prosecutor's Office has sent to court a criminal case against two local residents who organized illegal migration. This was reported on Friday, June 27, in the Telegram channel of the department.

"According to the investigation, in April 2022, a local resident organized the illegal stay of foreign citizens on the territory of the Russian Federation. She attracted her friend to participate in criminal activities," the report says.

Thus, the women managed to provide illegal services to 39 foreign citizens in a year.

A criminal case was initiated on the fact of organizing illegal migration (paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 322.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Also, charges under art. 322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation were brought against three owners of residential premises in which migrants were fictitiously registered.

The criminal case was sent to the Ussuriysky District Court.

Earlier, on June 11, the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Irina Volk, said that eight suspects of organizing illegal migration had been detained in the city of Dmitrov, Moscow region. It was noted that for two years the defendants had been looking for foreigners who illegally stayed in Russia.
