The Ministry of Defense showed footage of the Yars missile launchers during the exercises

In the Barnaul missile compound, as part of the planned exercises, autonomous launchers of the Yars mobile ground-based missile system (PGRK) were deployed on combat patrol routes. This was announced on June 27 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"Calculations of the Yars mobile ground—based missile systems are marching up to 100 km long, carrying out measures to equip field positions, organize camouflage and combat security," the ministry said.

In addition, the military personnel involved in the exercises are working on issues of countering sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRG).And the support units, according to the training plan, conduct maneuvers to remove special equipment from areas of conditional chemical contamination.

"Planned combat training measures make it possible to check the readiness of personnel, as well as weapons and military equipment for long—term duty in the field," the defense Ministry concluded.
