In Primorsky Krai, police conducted a raid against illegal migrant workers


Police officers in Primorsky Krai conducted an operational and preventive event "Illegal", aimed at detecting and suppressing offenses by foreign citizens. This was announced on Friday, June 27, by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
"During another raid, employees of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Artyom, together with representatives of the People's Militia Yakov Stepchenko Russian Community, checked two fast food establishments and a store selling building materials," the department said in a Telegram channel.
The police checked the foreigners' identity documents and documents giving them the right to work in the Russian Federation.
As a result of the raid, police officers identified five violators of labor laws. Two administrative protocols were drawn up on the fact of violation by a foreign citizen of the regime of stay in the Russian Federation (Part 1.1 of Article 18.8 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation). Another four are under Article 18.10 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation "Illegal employment by a foreign citizen or a stateless person."
The violators were fined. Their employers are currently being checked.
Earlier, on June 11, the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Irina Volk, said that eight suspects of organizing illegal migration had been detained in the city of Dmitrov, Moscow region. It was noted that for two years the defendants had been looking for foreigners who illegally stayed in Russia. For example, migrants were given fictitious documents for a fee and helped with temporary registration.
