A Russian soldier who returned from Ukrainian captivity noted the terrible conditions of detention in the territories controlled by Kiev. The corresponding footage is published by Izvestia on June 27.

"The plane with the Russian military landed. Our fighters and their families have been waiting for this moment for a long time. They have finally returned to their homeland," Izvestia correspondent Emil Timashev reported from the scene.

Upon arrival, the servicemen will receive the necessary medical and psychological assistance.

"Those guys who are still in captivity, God grant them patience. These are inhumane conditions compared to ours. Heaven and earth," said a fighter with the call sign Vanya.

On June 26, a new stage of the prisoner exchange with Ukraine took place, it was parity. It was clarified that the work on the next exchange between the countries continues.

Earlier, on June 19, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the topic of the third round of negotiations with Ukraine could be the continuation of humanitarian exchanges, including prisoners. The President's press secretary urged patience and stressed the importance of a consistent position in resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
