Russian Mirra Andreeva dropped out of the tennis tournament in Bad Homburg

Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva lost to Czech Linda Noskova in the quarterfinals of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) tournament on Thursday, June 26.

The meeting was held in Bad Homburg, Germany, and ended in 1 hour and 20 minutes with a score of 6:3, 6:3, Sport-Express reports.

Andreeva scored four aces and made six double faults during the game. Her opponent Noskova has two aces, one double fault and three break points out of five.

The Russian is the seventh racket of the world, the representative of the Czech Republic is the 30th racket.

In the semifinals of the tournament, Noskova will play with the representative of the USA, Jessica Pegula.

Earlier, on June 22, Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev was defeated in the final of the ATP 500 tournament held in Halle, Germany. His opponent was the representative of Kazakhstan Alexander Bublik, the 45th racket of the world.
