The White House is discussing the possibility of giving Iran access to the sum of $30 billion to create a civilian nuclear program. This was reported on June 26 by CNN.

It is noted that several proposals have been put forward in order to bring Tehran back to the negotiating table. They are preliminary and take into account a non-negotiable point: Iran's zero enrichment of uranium.

"Among the conditions discussed, which have not been previously reported, there are estimated investments of $ 20-30 billion in a new Iranian nuclear program without enrichment, which will be used for civilian energy purposes," the publication says.

It is noted that the proposal does not imply a direct flow of money from the United States, this should be handled by Arab countries.

Another idea, put forward last week and currently under consideration, is that U.S.-backed allies in the Persian Gulf would have to pay for the replacement of the Fordo nuclear facility with a new nuclear facility for Iran without uranium enrichment.

Earlier in the day, the White House press secretary announced that she was embarking on a diplomatic path of negotiations with Iran. She clarified that US President Donald Trump and his team, namely Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, continue to maintain contacts with representatives of Tehran.
