Putin noted the successful and fair cooperation of the countries within the EAEU

The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is an example of how cooperation in a new multipolar world should be built on the basis of justice and equality. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a plenary session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on June 26.

"Our integration association makes a real contribution to the creation of a large space of partnership, cooperation and economic growth on our common Eurasian continent, a space where each state's right to its own development model is respected and the interests of all participants are taken into account," he said.

According to Putin, the EAEU is open for cooperation with all foreign partners. The Head of State stressed that the Union is actively developing mutually beneficial relations with many countries and multilateral structures.

"In May, the free trade agreement with Iran came into force, <...> it is planned to sign agreements on economic cooperation with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Mongolia," the Russian president added.

Earlier in the day, Putin said that the Eurasian Economic Union had been established as a successful integration association. The Russian leader noted that the EAEU has become one of the key centers of global development.
