- The victim of an Audi accident in St. Petersburg was put into a medically induced coma

A man who was hit by an Audi in St. Petersburg was put into a medically induced coma. Yevgeny Gubanov, the victim's lawyer, told Izvestia about this on June 26.
"The victim is currently in the Elizabethan Hospital, in the intensive care unit, in a medically induced coma. According to the attending physician, these include a brain injury, severe lung injury, hip fracture, spinal fracture, and rib fractures," Gubanov said.
He added that so far no medical examination has been carried out on the severity of the injuries, but, relying on his experience, the lawyer is confident that we will be talking about serious bodily injuries.
Gubanov clarified that a criminal case had been opened into the incident under Part 3 of Article 12.8 of the Administrative Code ("Driving while intoxicated").
The accident itself occurred on June 19, however, according to the lawyer, the criminal case was opened recently. At the same time, Gubanov has only been given access to the case of an administrative offense initiated against the driver.
On the eve of an accident in the Kemerovo region, 27 cars collided, seven people were injured. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation clarified that an inspection is currently underway to establish the causes and circumstances of the accident.
