The Ukrainian Armed Forces set fire to more than 600 hectares of forest in the Kherson region in a day.

During the day, militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) set fire to more than 600 hectares of forest in the Kherson region. This was announced on June 26 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.

"The Kiev regime has started a large-scale arson of our forests. Over the past 24 hours, as a result of enemy aggression, forest fires have broken out on an area of over 600 hectares," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, fires were recorded in the Alyoshkinsky, Skadovsky, Golopristan, Chaplinsky, Kakhovsky, Imetikhsky and Novokakhovsky districts of the region. Most of the fires have been eliminated.

On June 23, in the Rostov region, as a result of an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), a fire broke out at an industrial enterprise. He was later eliminated. According to preliminary data, none of the company's employees were injured.
