The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has made two deliveries of equipment to Ukraine as part of the nuclear safety assistance program. This was announced on June 26 by the press service of the organization.

"As part of the IAEA's comprehensive program to provide assistance in the field of nuclear safety and physical nuclear safety, two new supplies of equipment were carried out in Ukraine, bringing the total number of such supplies since the beginning of the armed conflict to 142," a statement posted on the IAEA website said.

Both shipments were made with the help of Japanese financial resources.

On June 19, the Governor of the Zaporizhia region, Yevgeny Balitsky, spoke about the refusal of the IAEA to assess the shelling of the NPP by Kiev. According to him, such actions indicate that the Director General of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, is an "empty man."
