Lungu called Adashan's detention a police outrage.

The detention of Vasile Adashan, chairman of the Orhei district, is a police outrage that coincided with the visit of Prime Minister Dorin Rechan. Alexey Lungu, chairman of the Chance party and a member of the Pobeda political bloc, told Izvestia on June 26.
"Vasile Adashan's detention is nothing but police lawlessness, and it is very strange that his detention and all this nonsense that is being shoved at him coincides with Dorin Rechan's visit to Orhei (Orhei. — Ed.)," said Lungu.
In his opinion, in this way the special services are trying to "launder and protect" Rechan's image. He explained that the protests and discontent of the residents of the Orhei district are associated with low pensions in comparison with the high salary of an official.
On the same day, Moldovan Kanal5 reported that Rechan's visit was expected in Orhei. Later, it became known about the detention of Adashan during the protests.
"At the moment, he is being taken to the commissariat of the Ryshkanovka sector. And the leaders and activists of the Victory bloc in Orhei are being searched. All in order to prevent people from holding a protest," follows from the publication in the Telegram channel.
Also, according to Kanal5, the doors of the Orhei district council were broken down to ensure Dorin Rechan's access there.
On June 21, Vasily Bolyu, a representative of the Moldovan opposition political bloc Pobeda, was detained at Chisinau airport for "additional control." The footage shows how the politician is conducting a dialogue with a representative of the Moldovan border police, trying to find out from him the reason for his detention.
