Lukashenko urges to double the share of the EAEU in the global economy

The potential of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) has not yet been fully developed, and its share in the global economy needs to be doubled. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in his opening remarks at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on June 26.

"The GDP of our union is only about 4% of the global structure. What does this mean? That the potential of our integration association has not yet been fully exploited, and over the next ten years we must at least double this figure, giving a new impetus to integration," he said.
