The dealer estimated the rise in price of Lada Niva Travel after the upgrade

The updated Lada Niva Travel SUV will be about 5% more expensive than the current model after it goes on sale. This forecast was made by Alexander Shaprinsky, commercial director of the Pragmatika dealership network, the Autostat analytical agency reported on June 26.

"Lada Niva Travel has a certain well-established audience, which, of course, is increasing, but at a slow pace. Therefore, with the release of the updated SUV, the demand for it will grow, but not significantly," Shaprinsky also noted.

Currently, Lada Niva Travel is offered in five trim levels and costs from 1.31 million to 1.64 million rubles.

The updated Niva Travel was presented at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on June 18. Serial production of the model will begin in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The restyled model is distinguished by the exterior design of the front part. The car received LED optics, redesigned bumpers, and a different grille trim. Under the hood is a new 1.8 engine with a capacity of 90 hp. Compared with the 1.7 engine, which is currently equipped with an SUV, the power has increased by 7 hp, and the maximum torque has increased by 24 Nm. The transmission was adapted to the new engine, and the chassis also received improvements.
