- In the Trans-Baikal Territory, residents are evacuated from farming co-ops due to wildfires

In the Trans-Baikal Territory, residents are being evacuated from farming co-ops due to wildfires in the region. Footage of the situation on June 26 is published by Izvestia.
Vladislav Kharchenko, a correspondent for Izvestia, also clarified that fire trucks arrive at the place of arrival every minute to extinguish the remaining fires on the territory of the dacha association.
"Evacuation is just taking place — people are leaving on tillers with scythes, taking out everything they can, and the village is only 300 m away from here," he said.
According to residents, the fire has been going on for several days, during which they are taking out all the necessary things. At the same time, many summer residents stayed in their homes and filled barrels with water in case of fire.
"Helicopters flew yesterday. One helicopter was flying, I calculated, the flames were shot down, as if everything was flying, and another plane was flying, so the aircraft was connected, everything was shot down, everything is fine. At 9 a.m. we didn't have any smoke there — there was nothing," one of the residents shared.
It is noted that rescuers also used equipment in the form of bulldozers for plowing the territory, fire trucks and special hoses to eliminate open flames.
On June 24, it was reported that in the Trans-Baikal Territory, private houses in the SNT "Locomotive" almost completely burned down as a result of a forest fire in the region. Also, many forest areas were engulfed in smoke from fires throughout the region.
