Three routes for road travelers presented in Khakassia

Rosneft and the Tourist Information Center of Khakassia offered automobile travelers three routes to the most picturesque places in the region. This was reported in the press service of the oil company.

"All three routes start from Abakan and give travelers the opportunity to visit the key attractions of the region, known for its archaeological sites, nature and cultural heritage," Rosneft noted. Detailed audio guides have been prepared for all routes.

The presentation of the "Roads of Time" project was organized at the Rosneft gas station in Abakan.

Motorists who choose the route "Shirinsky Krai — lake Paradise" will learn about the history of the ancient nomadic states of Khakassia, about kurgan gold and flooded villages, about protected areas and underground cave palaces, about pioneer academicians and recreation areas on the shores of the Krasnoyarsk reservoir. Not far from the route there are: the mountains of Sunduki, the route "Trail of ancestors", the Tuimsky gap, the natural monument "Stone Forest". The length of the route from Abakan is 200 km, the journey is designed for a period of eight hours to three days.

The route "Steppe Heart of Khakassia" leads through different natural areas of Khakassia. After the river valleys of Abakan, travelers will see the steppes of Khakassia, and then the meadow foothills of the Sayan Mountains. Through the mountain serpentines, travelers will get to the city of Abaza, where three cultures have merged: the original Khakass, Cossack and Russian-Siberian. The length of the route from Abakan is 250 km, the trip must take from 10 hours to three days.

By choosing the all-season route "To the mighty HPP on the Yenisei", travelers will learn about the stages of formation of Abakan, Khakass legends about steppe winds, as well as about the coal and metallurgical industry of the region, get acquainted with the natural resources of the Yenisei coast and the tourist opportunities of the Sayan Mountains, visit the Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP. Part of the route passes through the Kobal steppe, part along the Yenisei Valley. The route is 135 km long, and the trip lasts from 6 hours to 2 days.
