A pit bike driver was killed in a collision with a car in the Chelyabinsk region.

A pit bike driver was killed in a collision with a passenger car in the Sosnovsky district of the Chelyabinsk region. The regional State Traffic Inspectorate reports this in its Telegram channel.

The accident occurred on Thursday morning, June 26, at 5:50 a.m. local time (3:50 a.m. Moscow time). On the 2nd km of the Shagol – Krasnoe highway, a VIS passenger car and a pit bike collided, which, according to preliminary data, was leaving a secondary road.

As a result of the accident, the 26-year-old pit bike driver suffered various injuries, from which he died on the spot. It is known that he was without a motorcycle helmet and protective equipment.

As it turned out, the young man did not have a driver's license, writes the news agency " <url>". He had previously been brought to administrative responsibility, and his pit bike was seized at a special parking lot.

The second participant in the accident also found himself without a driver's license. A protocol was drawn up against the 30-year-old VIS driver under the relevant article (Part 1 of Article 12.7 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation), and an administrative offense case was opened against the owner of the car for transferring a car to a person without a driver's license (part 3 of Article 12.7 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation).

On June 24, in the village of Kazantsevo in the Chelyabinsk region, a 15-year-old boy lost control of a pit bike, drove off the road and crashed into an electric pole. The driver and his peer passenger were killed.
