Sobyanin spoke about the growth in the pace of housing construction under the renovation program

During 2025, more than 18,000 Muscovites received housing under the renovation program, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said in his Telegram channel. During the first six months of the year, the construction of more than 20 residential complexes was completed in the city — twice as many as in the same period last year.

"Since the beginning of 2025, almost all new buildings have been built using prefab technologies. The method allows you to reduce the construction time by 30-50%. The operating time of such buildings is 100 years or more. The houses meet all the standards of modern and high—quality housing," said the mayor of the capital.

For the participants of the renovation program, the Relocation Assistance service is available, within which you can use the services of movers and a car for transporting things for free. Since the beginning of the year, over 4.5 thousand families have used the service.

One of the residential complexes built was a new building on Ilimskaya Street, 5. The house has 230 apartments with a total area of over 13 thousand square meters, among them there is housing for residents with limited mobility. Comprehensive landscaping has been carried out in the courtyard, sports and children's playgrounds are equipped, as well as a recreation area for residents. In total, this year the Moscow authorities plan to build about two million square meters under the Renovation Program. m housing, which will allow about 70 thousand Muscovites to get new housing.
