Primorsky Krai's transport fleet is waiting for an update. The regional authorities will purchase 27 new buses worth about 400 million rubles. This is necessary to improve the quality and safety of passenger transportation. The auction documentation is published on the public procurement portal.

According to the terms of the tender, the new buses will be distributed between Vladivostok, Chernihiv municipal district and Ussuriysk and Lesozavodsky urban districts.

All buses will be new, without refurbishments or the use of used spare parts. They must have equipment for non-cash payment of travel. Terminals and validators are synchronized in a single system.

Cars conforming to the Euro-5 environmental standard will be equipped with diesel engines, an automatic transmission, an air conditioning system and a folding panel for people with limited mobility.

The first 12 buses will be delivered to the customer by October 30, while the remaining three buses will be delivered by January 31, 2026. Vladivostok will receive 15 cars, Ussuriysk — five, Lesozavodsk — six, Chernihiv Municipal District — one car, writes IA PrimaMedia.

Earlier it was reported that four new MAZ buses have been operating on bus routes No. 15 and No. 77 in Vladivostok since May. The buses have been tested, which is necessary for further work on public transport routes.
