Israel could use depleted uranium munitions to attack important targets in Iran. This was reported by the Fars news agency on June 26, citing sources.

"Initial studies conducted at the sites of the hit confirmed signs of the presence of uranium," the agency's Telegram channel says.

As specified by "Gazeta.Ru", the final conclusions will be made after additional research. As the agency emphasized, when such a munition hits a target, dust from metal and radioactive particles is formed, which has an extremely negative impact on human health and the environment.

On June 25, NBC reported that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) was running out of some key weapons, as well as ammunition. It is noted that the shortage arose amid tensions between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
