The World Court has fined Russian TV presenter and blogger Victoria Bonya 50,000 rubles under the administrative protocol on drug propaganda. This was announced on Friday, June 26, by a correspondent of Izvestia.

The protocol was registered on May 28 under Part 1.1 of Article 6.13 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Propaganda of narcotic drugs using the Internet").

According to the case file and the results of linguistic research, the Internet page where Boney's interview with blogger Sergey Kosenko was published contained information about the ways of using drugs and other substances, as well as the effect of their use.

"We have a partial admission of guilt. This protocol states that she is an individual entrepreneur. She gave this interview as a private person. This interview was not filmed in Russia, it was filmed for a Russian—speaking audience living in Europe," said a representative of the TV presenter.

Earlier, on June 4, a protocol on an administrative violation under the article on drug propaganda was drawn up against Bonya.
